The Mountain Astrologer's Beginners Series is a good place to get an astrological overview. I wrote most of the series, including articles on The Birthchart as a Map, Transits and Progressions, and Lunations, Nodes and Eclipses.

One of my current astrological passions is the sometimes wild and always provocative Black Moon Lilith. Here is a recent article from The Mountain Astrologer's Web site that introduces Black Moon Lilith through a contemporary news event.

Right after the presidential election on November 4, 2004 I gave the keynote address in Ashland, Oregon at the NCGR Regional Conference. The themes I discussed have a long reach, and will affect the climate of the country for at least several more years.

On a lighter note, some celebrities and artists have also caught my attention for astrological analysis. Here's an article about poet Sylvia Plath, and Gwyneth Paltrow's remarkable portrayal of her in the 2003 movie "Sylvia."
